A poster should communicate an idea quickly so that people want to look at it. This simple idea helps me design content that promotes an event, service, or product. For this project, I played with layouts, fonts, photos, and other visual elements based on the message I wanted to communicate. I preferred designs that were clean over designs that were overcrowded. Branding was the final part. Colors, fonts, and designs should be well balanced so that people will recognize a brand’s products or services. This project helped me build the balance between creativity and clarity. It helps to make something while still keeping the message simple.
WordPress Website Development
For this project, I decided to use WordPress. It’s great for using a robust tool to build websites, along with the flexibility to edit content without the painstaking task of total website rebuilds. The main body of this project was the development of the page layout, navigation and the responsive design. The pages must be constructed in a way that works great for both desktop and mobile computing. The most important part to consider was ease of use when managing the site. A site looks great when launched, but it loses customers quick if it is hard to manage and update. I built a good understanding of the design, content and functionality when considering each element for WordPress website construction.
Business Website Development
Business Website Development A website is often the stop people visit when they want to learn more about a business. A website must answer their questions. Give them a reason to trust the brand. That is why a business website must be more, than a few pages together. For this project I built a website that has sections explaining the business the services it offers and how customers can contact the business. I kept the layout simple so visitors can move through the website without getting confused. I also focused on how the website content and sectionsre arranged. A good website should guide visitors naturally from learning about the business to taking action such as making an enquiry or contacting the business. The final goal was simple: to create a website that looks professional feels easy to use. Gives the business a place to represent itself online.
